2022: “Entrepreneurship workshop for the Creative and Cultural Sector” on November 30th and December 1st 2022

The workshop aimed to support participants in the business development of their projects or ideas and the enhancement of their entrepreneurial mindset and skills. Different business models have been discussed as well as ways to commercialise their creative work successfully.
Trainer
Dr Celia Hadjichristodoulou is the Founder and Managing Director of GrantXpert Consulting, an expert consulting and training company on national and EU funding programmes. The company was founded in 2009, following the utilisation of national funds from the national Scheme of Cyprus entitled “Supporting young women entrepreneurs”. In April 2019 Celia received the “Businesswoman of the Year” Award, during the “Madame Figaro Women of the Year” ceremony.
Celia has a specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Management of SMEs, both from a practical and an academic perspective. Celia is an authorised trainer in areas related to start-ups, entrepreneurship education, leadership skills, management of SMEs and EU funding programmes. She is also a well-known trainer/speaker on the topics of “Obtaining funding from EU and national programmes”, “Developing your employability and entrepreneurship skills” and “EU funding opportunities for young entrepreneurs”. For the past 16 years, she has also been working as Visiting Lecturer in local universities. Currently, she is a visiting Lecturer at CIIM, teaching for Masters’ students two industrial workshops, entitled “Professional and Career Development” and “Entrepreneurial and Leadership Skills”. In addition, she is a mentor at the IdeaCy Incubation-Acceleration Programme and was a member of the Evaluation Committee during the first cycle of the programme.
